FITCH FUEL CATALYST

Tuning an Engine with The Fitch Fuel Catalyst

Note 1: Since The Fitch Catalyst Treated Fuel Burns More Completely, Re-Jetting to achieve optimal fuel /air ratio and adjusting timing may be advisable in order to realize the full benefit of the Fitch treated fuel. We recommend that an engine be tuned after installation of the Fitch product by setting the timing to factory spec and then setting the fuel / air for optimum performance.

Note 2: When using Fitch in conjunction with Aftermarket Performance Parts such as exhaust headers and pipes or performance engine management units we suggest the same procedures in Note 1.

Note 3: Some production recreational vehicles have high compression ratios and advanced timing.. Using high octane fuel is necessary to resist abnormal combustion due to heat or pressure of high compression. Using The Fitch Catalyst should allow these vehicles to drop one or more octane levels without detonation problems.

Note 4: Carburetors & Fitch - Most carbureted engines are able to run leaner with the use of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. Customers have reported dropping 1 - 2 Jet Sizes.

Note 5: Moisture condensation & Fitch - The Fitch Fuel Catalyst reduces the tendency of fuel to absorb water. It will not stop condensation from occurring due to temperature changes. It is recommended to keep fuel tanks full during periods of non-use.

Note 6: How is The Correct Fitch Model Number determined for a given application? The size of fuel tank and the fuel flow rate to the engine are determining factors.

Note 7: Will the Fitch Fuel Catalyst damage carburetor jets or injectors? Absolutely Not! The Fitch Fuel Catalyst does not add anything to Fuel. The Fitch treated fuel will help keep the jets or injectors clean.

Note 8: Dirtbike/ Motocross/ Snowcross. We recommend installing The Fitch Fuel Catalyst in the fuel storage / fill can rather than in the bikes gas tank itself due to the extreme nature of the use.

Note 9: The Fitch Fuel Catalyst does not float, rattle around or harm any of the internal fuel tank components. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst units gravitate to the lowest point of a fuel tank.

Note 10: Rely on the Fitch for off Season storage -. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst will help keep Fuel Fresh and reduce gumming & varnishing.

Note 11: Fuel Injected Recreational Vehicles - Engines Controlled by Electronic Management Units (EMU's) should have the battery disconnected for 15 - 20 Minutes while installing The Fitch Catalyst. This will allow the computer memory to re-set. Many engine manuals have instructions on how to reset the engine management unit.
