How much is my cost for fuel?

Most people don't think much about what they are actually paying for fuel when they fill up. The news is full of price increases, for us in Canada, priced per liter. Every week the price changes and continues to rise. Now the National average for March 2011 is about $1.21 per liter or $5.50 per gallon. Most often we get the price per gallon from the US on the news etc. We listen to interviews and how people are upset paying $3.00 to $4.00 per gallon. That being said many people we speak with do not actually know what price we are paying per gallon in Canada. Many are shocked to find out that we are well over $5.00 per gallon here.

Here is an example:

1 Canadian Gallon = 4.546 liters
4.546 liters X $1.21 per liter (todays average Canadian price March 24, 2011) = $5.50 per gallon

By using the Fitch Fuel Catalyst you can save 1 to 2.5 miles per gallon, (4.546 to 11.36 klm's per liter)
5% to 12% fuel savings.

$5.50 X 5% = $0.275 savings per gallon
$5.50 X 12% = $0.66 savings per gallon

The average fuel tank holds 18 to 25 gallons in most cars or light trucks today.

20 (gallons) X ($5.50 (@$1.21 per liter) Per gallon X 5% = $0.275) = $5.50 savings per fill up
20 (gallons) X ($5.50 (@$1.21 per liter) Per gallon X 12% = $0.66 ) = $13.20 savings per fill up

(savings are calculated by the milage gained per tank)

The payback on the Fitch unit is usually 3 months to 1 year, depending on driving habits, but the Fitch keeps working long after that and goes on to keep these types of savings for 250,000 miles or 400,000 kms.
So next time you fill up make that quick caluculation using an average of 10% and roughly figure out what you might have saved by using the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. If it cost you $60.00 to fill up then you may have saved about $6.00 on that fill up with the gain in the extra mileage.

And don't forget that you also will retain all of the other benifits of the Fitch product. Lower emissions, better performance, smoother running, cleaner engine and oils, keep injectors, carburetors, and spark plugs clean etc.

Our product did not just appear because of the increase in fuel prices. The Fitch Fuel Catlyst has a 17 year history in all applications from recreational equipment to heavy diesel applications. Our resume is far beyond many of those out there. Click here to view our Credential Resume

So make your choice to help save the environment and lower your fuel costs while you do it.

Here is a quick way to figure out your mileage per gallon if you like:

CONVERSION TABLE

1 Gallon = 4.5461 Liters

Klm's X 0.62 = Miles per liter

klm's divided by liters = klm' per liter

==================================

To convert klm's per liter to miles per gallon:

Take the number of Klm's and divide it by the number of Liters

Take that number and multiply it by .062 to get miles per liter

Take that number and multiply it by 4.5461 to get miles per gallon

Example:

If I traveled 415.8 klm's using 47.782 liters then how many miles per gallon would that be?

415.8 klm's divided by 47.782 liters = 8.702 (klm' per liter) X 0.62 = 5.3952 (miles per liter) X 4.5461 (liters per gallon) = 24.527 Miles per gallon
