HEATING AND BOILERS INFORMATION

THE MAIN ISSUE TODAY, WE MUST DO MORE, WITH LESS

LIMITED EFFICIENCY:
Currently there is a finite range for improvement in an oil heat systems operating efficiency. Today’s OEM max. range 84 – 87%. Most oil heat systems are operating at less than maximum efficiency. Percentage gain is minimal.

LIMITED OPTIONS:
There is little to offer households with oil fired boilers and furnaces. New efficiency gains beyond routine annual “Clean and Tune” are not directly available to consumers. Short of a complete heating system replacement, oil heat households appear to be limited to a basic energy lower the thermostat - conservation approach, as the only option to save fuel.

THE IMMEDIATE SOLUTION:
The FITCH Fuel Catalyst provides an immediate solution to saving fuel. The FITCH Fuel Catalyst employs a similar technology that oil refineries use in refining crude – a catalyst. The FITCH Fuel Catalyst provides a mechanism to alter the long chain hydrocarbon structure of the fuel, by reducing aromatics and increasing aliphatics in fuel oil, will allow the release more of the BTU energy within the fuel oil. This improvement in combustion can be measured by an immediate increase in stack temperature. The FITCH Fuel Catalyst cold cracking catalyst breaks the bonds of long chain hydrocarbons, which increases more surface area, which releases more of the inherent BTU energy from the fuel oil in the combustion process. To achieve fuel savings we simply reduce the size of the burner nozzle, which returns stack temperature to the original baseline.

INCREASED HEAT OUTPUT:
The FITCH Fuel Catalyst is installed pre-combustion, in line before of the oil burner. The FITCH Fuel Catalyst will produce an increase in the stack temperature of 20–65 degrees. To maximize the efficiency of the heat increase, a licensed technician will lower the size of the nozzle (sized by-gallons per hour, or GPH). The net result is the FITCH Fuel Catalyst reformulation of the fuel will allow the boiler, or furnace to achieve its maximum combustion efficiency.

SAME HEAT, LESS FUEL:
The same heat output while employing a smaller nozzle. The net gain is less fuel per hour with the smaller gph sized nozzle (ex. 1.25 gph nozzle reduced to 1.0 gph nozzle produces a 20% net savings). The same heat output, while consuming 10 to 20% less fuel. The savings are realized in less than one hour of installing the FITCH unit.

GHG EMISSION REDUCTION & TRADING:
Each installation will produce a corresponding reduction in harmful diesel Greenhouse Gases (GHG) and in particular CO2 savings. Each gallon of # 2 Heating Oil saved (not burned) will avoid emitting approximately 22 lbs of CO2 into the atmosphere. Each FITCH installation is expected to reduce the households Carbon Footprint 1- 5 metric tons per HH of CO2 per year. The metric tons of Carbon Credits can be banked, traded or sold on the Carbon Credit Exchange. The FITCH Fuel Catalyst system will provide immediate fuel efficiency, which will save significant gallons of fuel oil and directly reduce the amount of harmful diesel emissions. The FITCH efficiency fuel savings will continue to be realized year after year.
